Privacy Policy

InTradingHub is operated by Varity Ventures ("we", "us", "our"), located in Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what personal information InTradingHub collects, why, how we protect it, and the choices and rights you have. It is written to meet Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for residents of Quebec, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Quebec Law 25).

1. Information we collect

2. How we use your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use your trading data to trade for our own account, and we do not use it to build or train machine-learning models that are shared outside your account.

3. Legal basis / consent

We collect, use and disclose personal information with your consent, which you give by creating an account and using the Service for the purposes described here. For some processing we rely on the fact that it is necessary to perform our contract with you (for example, placing an order you configured) or to meet a legal obligation (for example, keeping tax records). You may withdraw consent for non-essential processing (such as marketing email) at any time; withdrawing consent needed to run the Service may mean we can no longer provide it.

We share personal information only as needed to run the Service, and only with providers bound to protect it:

We may also disclose information in connection with a corporate transaction (merger, financing, or sale of assets), subject to the recipient honouring this policy.

5. Storage outside Canada & foreign access

Some of the service providers listed above store or process personal information outside Canada, primarily in the United States. While that information is outside Canada it is subject to the laws of that country, and courts, law-enforcement and regulatory authorities there may be able to obtain access to it under those laws. By using the Service you acknowledge this transfer. If you are a Quebec resident, we have assessed these transfers as required by Law 25; contact us for details.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the Service at your own risk.

8. Breach notification

If a breach of security safeguards involving your personal information creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (and, for Quebec residents, the Commission d'accès à l'information) as soon as feasible, and keep a record of the breach as required by law.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. There is no charge for a reasonable request.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a "remember me" cookie only if you opt in. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

12. Children

The Service is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under the age of majority in their province or territory. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date changes when we do, and we will notify account holders of material changes by email or in-app notice.
